The most common weapons used by a Ninja are his hands and feet, used in a variety of punches, throws, chops, holds, blocks and kicks, these are deadly fighting machines. However when the average person says "weapons" they tend to be meaning guns, swords and other such items. So that is what this page is about. The many weapons and tools of then modern Ninja.
The sword (ninja-to) is the favourite weapon of a Ninja, and they come in a variety of lengths and patterns.
However, many get confused by the fact that Ninja swords are straight bladed, and Samuri's are curved. Don't get this muddled up, because they are arch enemys and will get very annoyed if you call them the wrong thing.

Throwing Stars are another favourite of the Ninja, and again come in many different styles. Some even disguised such as the playing card ones shown in the third picture.
Ninjas also use knife-type objects called mete. These look like small swords but are alot easier to conceal.
